The performance requirements of floor coatings in different industries are different, so the differences of construction methods are involved. When using water-based epoxy paint as the floor of machinery, chemical industry, warehouse and other workshops, because of the need for floor impact resistance, rolling resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and so on, it must be carried out according to the conventional process, that is, base treatment primer epoxy mortar strengthening layer putty topcoat.
(1) Base treatment: For the concrete ground with more oil pollution, it can be washed with 10%-15% hydrochloric acid, and then washed with clean water; for the general concrete ground with larger area, it can be treated by grinding, removing sand dust and oil pollution with electric mill.
(2) Back sealing: after mixing epoxy primer A and B evenly, roll coating on the surface of the base, preferably roll coating twice, so that it is fully wetted and penetrated into the concrete interior, play a bond strengthening role.
Epoxy floor coatings have high viscosity, induction period, poor compatibility with epoxy resin, low thermal deformation stability, good adhesion, strength and toughness. They are mainly used in high solid coatings, sealants, adhesives, cable connectors, ester-cyclic aliphatic ester-cyclic amine, that is, low viscosity. Compared with polyamide, it has good chemical resistance, no whitening, no induction period, but poor toughness and low curing activity. It can be cured only after adding accelerators or modifying conditions at room temperature.
