The factors affecting the adhesion of epoxy floors to concrete can be divided into two parts: the condition of concrete base and the condition of epoxy floors. The best concrete foundation surface is the coarse, dry and solid concrete surface corresponding to the degree of concrete foundation.
1. Porosity: As a kind of porous ground, the inner capillary is more suitable for the immersion of floor paint. The better the penetration of epoxy floor paint, the better the bonding function of the two, so the general old concrete floor, epoxy resin self-leveling floor, especially the base coated with other covering materials. They must be fully polished to make them rough and open after surface opening-up.
2, water content: the lower the moisture content of the concrete base, the better the bonding function.
3, solid ground. The surface is too loose, which will make the sealing and curing floors unbonded with the base surface. So before construction, remove the loose layer.
Situation of epoxy floor material
1, curing reaction. Wear-resisting floor materials are reactive curing coatings. The amount of heat released and the temperature produced during the reaction have a great impact on the curing performance of floor coatings. The curing agent is the main factor affecting the curing temperature, so in order to ensure the adhesion between the epoxy floor paint and the substrate, we must choose the appropriate curing agent.
2. Construction technology. When the adhesion between the floor paint and the base is insufficient, the floor will be flooded with shedding phenomenon, and the most effective way to prevent shedding is to pay attention to the treatment of the base surface, must be in the base surface has the appropriate rough, dry state before the floor construction.
