For anti-static floor, the anti-static index of coating should be considered firstly; secondly, compressive strength, tensile strength and wear resistance, as well as the usual chemical resistance. Therefore, in the formulation design, epoxy resin is basically used as binder, conductive materials, fillers, solvents and additives are added to make anti-static floor coatings. Now let's have a look at the properties of epoxy resin and floor construction.
Properties of epoxy resin
1, various forms. Various resins, curing agents, modifiers can almost meet the requirements of various applications on the form, its range can be from very low viscosity to high melting point solid, easy curing. With various curing agents, the epoxy resin system can almost solidify within 0~180 C temperature range.
2, mould resistance. The cured epoxy system is resistant to most molds and can be used in harsh tropical conditions.
3. Strong adhesion. The existence of polar hydroxyl and ether bonds in the molecular chain of epoxy resin makes it have high adhesion to various substances. The shrinkage of epoxy resin curing is low and the internal stress is small, which also helps to improve the adhesion strength and dimensional stability. The synthesis of many of the above properties makes the epoxy system have outstanding dimensional stability and durability.
4, chemical stability. Generally, the cured epoxy system has excellent alkali resistance, acid resistance and solvent resistance. Like other properties of cured epoxy systems, chemical stability depends on the resin and curing agent chosen. Proper choice of epoxy and curing agents can give them special chemical stability.
5, low shrinkage. The reaction between epoxy resin and curing agent is carried out by direct addition reaction or ring opening polymerization of epoxy group in resin molecule. No water or other volatile by-products are released. Compared with unsaturated polyester resin and phenolic resin, they exhibit very low shrinkage (less than 2%) during curing.
6. Mechanical properties. The cured epoxy resin system has excellent mechanical and electrical properties. The cured epoxy resin system is an excellent insulating material with high dielectric properties, surface leakage resistance and arc resistance.
1. The construction temperature is more than 5 degrees. If you want to construct at <5 C, choose a special formula. Humidity is recommended to be constructed below 75%.
2. Make sure that the air should be circulated and the paint can not be used for more than 30 minutes. Maintenance work should be done well in the construction process to avoid dust and sundries intrusion and affect the paint effect.
3, after the construction site is completed, it needs to be maintained for at least 7 days before it can be put into operation. During maintenance period, avoid infiltration of water or various solutions as far as possible.
4, strictly prohibit mixing other kinds of paints, please strictly add the curing agent according to the prescribed proportion.
5, keep the surface of the coating clean at any time, and the moisture content of the coating must be less than 7%.
