In the process of epoxy floor paint application, anti-static floor paint construction technical indicators generally attach great importance to the detection of various quality indicators of floor paint coatings, but usually ignore the detection of the quality of floor paint. In order to ensure the high quality of product coating, the quality of floor paint should be strictly controlled before painting. When a batch of coatings is purchased and used in a factory, the process department can only pass the acceptance test by sampling. Sampling test, although it has the representative quality performance of the batch of coatings, can not guarantee that 100% of the whole batch of coatings fully conform to the coatings standards, as well as the performance requirements of the quality standard indicators of the factory:
(1) Testing the viscosity of flooring paint. The viscosity of the paint can be divided into relative viscosity, kinematic viscosity and absolute viscosity. In the process of coating, the relative viscosity of coatings measured by coating-4 viscometer is commonly used in the production site. In addition to the commonly used coat-4 viscometer, there are coat-1 viscometer for high viscosity, drop-ball viscometer and rotary viscometer for less application.
(2) Fineness detection of epoxy floor coatings Pigments and filler particles in color coatings, and the degree of uniform dispersion in production, have great influence on the smooth appearance and gloss of the coatings. Therefore, it is necessary to test the quality index of coating fineness to make it meet the requirements of coating quality standards. The commonly used scraper fineness meter can detect the fineness index of coatings.
(3) There are international standards for the quality of commonly used coatings and the quality standards for manufactured coatings (referring to solvent coatings). In China, there are national standards, standards issued by the Ministry of Chemical Industry and the quality standards for manufactures. In the quality standard of floor paint, the fineness, viscosity, leveling, covering power, density, flash point and consistency of the paint can be determined laterally. There is also a daily quality item for floor paint before use.
Construction epoxy floor paint and floor renovation although their material selection and construction are basically the same, but their ways are not the same, the first floor renovation will be to eradicate the old floor, and do bottom treatment.
To eradicate the old coating, first of all, we should make clear whether the aging condition of the floor is compatible with the new floor paint. If the aging level of the floor is severe, we can use water immersion, scouring and then use the putty knife to clean it up. Solvent floor paint is usually cleaned by mechanical method, such as wire brush or electric grinding wheel. Because the surface of solvent floor paint is relatively dense, mechanical method is more suitable.
If the company needs to update the floor due to the development reasons, the first thing to consider is the compatibility of the floor paint. If the floor has good compatibility, only need to clean the surface and then paint the floor, if the compatibility is very poor, then need to clean the old floor and re-install.
Epoxy anti-static floor paint has decorative and applicability. However, after the completion of construction, there are often phenomena such as film bubbles, brushing marks, empty drum, peeling and so on. These problems are mainly due to the formation of inappropriate construction, or the formation of poor quality materials, or the lack of protection in the process of application. The internal stress of epoxy floor paint in cross-linking solidification film formation is low. Many factors in the technical construction of functional floor paint will cause the internal stress of the film and cause the final defect of the film, especially the decrease of the adhesion of the film to the substrate. The epoxy resin molecule contains some meridional groups when cured with secondary light groups. Hydrogen bond association between light groups results in close arrangement of epoxy resin molecule. Therefore, the density difference of epoxy resin before and after curing is small. Moreover, the curing reaction of epoxy resin is mainly a step-by-step ring-opening addition polymerization reaction, but not in the reaction. The curing shrinkage of epoxy resin is very low because of the formation of by-products of small molecules. Therefore, the adhesion between the film and the interface of epoxy resin coatings during curing has little effect.
