With the expansion of the use of epoxy floor, it can be seen in parking lots, factory buildings, hospitals, industries and other areas. After the construction of epoxy flooring, we must pay attention to monitoring the viscosity of epoxy flooring paint. The viscosity of the flooring paint is to ensure the quality and service life of the epoxy flooring after construction. When we measure the viscosity of floor paint, we must pay attention to the following points, otherwise it is difficult to operate. In testing the viscosity of floor paint, we must not carelessly, in order to avoid the quality problems after the completion of construction and other factors. (1)测定的规定温度应在21-25℃之间。因为温度过高的话测定的黏度就比较低，而温度过低相对黏度就比较高，没有标准值，所以在温度上一定要把握好。
(1) The prescribed temperature for determination should be between 21 and 25 degrees Celsius. Because if the temperature is too high, the measured viscosity will be relatively low, and if the temperature is too low, the relative viscosity will be relatively high. There is no standard value, so we must grasp the temperature well.
(2) Clean the cup after each test, and select the appropriate solvent to prevent the test hole from being blocked.
(3) Firstly, close the small hole and leak with finger or instrument, pour 100 ml paint, and pour bubbles and excess samples into the groove with glass rod to prevent the test samples from being insufficient or exceeding the standard.
(4) When the finger is moved quickly, the stopwatch is started at the same time. When the sample flow rate is interrupted, the stopwatch is stopped immediately and the time is started.
Above is the test method for the viscosity of epoxy floor paint, which can be tested by the experience of people who often contact with epoxy floor paint. The method is that after mixing, the epoxy floor paint material can be observed by using stick to pick up the paint (normal paint should fall freely and continuously, if there is interruption and shrinkage phenomenon, indicating that the paint is thicker). Generally, the coatings on the rod and the coatings in the barrel are very short. In time, the continuous flow will be connected, the connection distance is 30-50 cm, which is the degree of brushing; and less than 30 cm, it shows that the viscosity of the paint is too small, the paint is too sparse to be brushed; more than 50 cm, indicating that the viscosity is too high, the paint is too thick to be directly applied. By observing and testing the viscosity of the floor paint, the degree of polymerization of the paint after storage for a period of time can also be observed to adjust the viscosity with suitable diluent according to different construction requirements, so as to achieve the required viscosity index for the construction of epoxy floor paint.
